About the journal

About the journal

The Brazilian Journal of Mechanical Vibrations in Bioscience (BJMVB) is an international journal focused on the effects and applications of mechanical vibrations in biological systems. We publish original articles, reviews, and short communications exploring vibration-based mechanisms in health, physiology, and experimental models.

The BJMVB journal embraces interdisciplinary contributions that investigate the biological, clinical, and technological dimensions of mechanical vibrations in life and health sciences. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to, physiology, rehabilitation, biomechanics, biomedical engineering, and medical applications of vibration therapy. With a semiannual publication schedule and a peer-review process, BJMVB is committed to scientific quality, research ethics, and broad dissemination of innovative findings.
