Submissson

 

Submissions will take place until June 30th, 2023.

To send your abstract it is MANDATORY to be registered in the CONGRESS.

When sending the abstract to the email (abstractsmevitih2023@gmail.com), send proof of payment for the congress registration together.

All accepted abstracts will be published in the Brazilian Journal of Mechanical Vibrations in Biosciences (BJMVB).

After acceptance, instructions for making the banner will be given.

 

Preparation of the abstracts:


The  abstract must be formatted in accordance with the model below using font Arial, size 12, space 1, and in the English language:

One line between the title with affiliation and the text.

Text up to 500 words with:

Introduction: Fundamentals for the development of the study. Aim: The objectives for carrying out the work must be listed. Methods: indicate all materials used for the work, sample size, age and gender (experiments with humans and species) or age, body mass and gender (use of laboratory animals). Mention reference from the project approval letter (protocol/process) in the ethics committee for animal or human experimentation. Mention software and methods for statistical analysis. Results: The results with the respective values must be cited in the text according to the order in which the experiment was carried out, using compatible statistics (mean±standard deviation, standard error, number of the sample actually studied, percentage of control, etc.) with the units of measure. The abstract must not contain tables or figures. Conclusion: The conclusion must necessarily be based on the results presented. 

Financial Support: If any, mention in the last line with the respective project code approved by the development agency.

Keywords: define up to six keywords

To publish (papers or abstracts) in the BJMVB, authors must agree to the following terms:

a) Authors retain copyright and grant the journal the right of first publication.

b) Authors are authorized to assume additional contracts separately, for non-exclusive distribution of the version of the work published in the BJMVB (e.g.: publish in an institutional repository or as a book chapter), with acknowledgment of authorship and publication initial in the BJMVB.

c) Authors are permitted and encouraged to publish and distribute the work online (e.g. in institutional repositories or on their personal page) at any point before or during the editorial process, as this can generate productive changes as well as increase the impact and citation of the published work.

Privacy Policy: The names and addresses provided will be used exclusively for the services provided for the publication of the BJMVB, not being made available for other purposes besides the publication of papers and abstracts.

Rejected submitted papers and abstracts: Works with multiple spelling and grammatical errors or that do not meet the specific instructions for writing will be rejected. In these cases, they may be re-submitted after restructuring, as a new work, initiating another submission process. The same work will not be evaluated more than twice.
